SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to Springfield Police, two armed men wearing masks walked into Daily’s gas station/convenience store on Memorial Blvd early Sunday and demanded money.

carpet consultation 300 adPolice say no one was injured in the incident that occurred just before 3:00 am. The station is located at 17 Memorial Blvd, directly across from the Robertson County fairgrounds.

Police say the men escaped with a small amount of cash from the register and a few packs of cigarettes. Springfield Detectives are still early in their investigation but what we do know is the two men were in and out very quickly.  Before entering the store the men struck the outside cameras to point them away from crime scene.

As far as a description of the suspects, all we have at the moment is, two white males wearing masks and all black clothing. Police say they do have video and plan on releasing more information as they conduct their investigation.

UPDATE: Springfield Police are releasing chilling security video footage of the armed robbery and in an unusual step, police have decided to release the audio recording of the robbery in hopes that someone will recognize the voices of the men.
