Man Stabbed At Barbecue In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A man in Springfield was stabbed while attending a barbecue at a home located at 1001 10th Ave East around 5 PM Friday afternoon.
According to Detective Rickie Morris of the Springfield 
Police department, the suspect (most likely a family member) entered the backyard and sat down. The cook tossed something on the grill for him and the suspect then stood up and said “(unknown name) told me to do this” The suspect then pulled out a large knife and stabbed the victim (we believe one time) in the upper right chest, Detective Morris said.
The victim was conscious and lucid when police arrived and was quickly transported to NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
Within 20 minutes of the stabbing, Springfield officers arrested Travelle Demumbrum in connection to the case. Demumbrum has been charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault, according to Detective Morris.
