Just Another Day In Robertson County (3 Stories)

Within less than 24 hours starting Wednesday evening to Thursday afternoon, a tractor trailer snapped a utility pole in half  cutting power to I.A.C. on Bill Jones Industrial Blvd for hours. No one was hurt in the accident.  Later, just after power was restored to I.A.C., a fire broke out at the same facility. Springfield Fire arrived quickly and kept the fire contained to a small area. A Preliminary investigation suggests the cause of the fire was electrical.

Then later that same day a pickup truck impacted a utility pole in front of Hardee’s on Memorial Blvd. The impact snapped the pole in half. The teen driver escaped the accident with only minor injuries.

Luckily no serious injuries were reported in all three incidents.
